The main objective of The Tale Teller is for children to have fun while learning. Each story has been written and developed with a specific age group in mind. The Tale Teller uses the power of story, image, dance and song, to aid understanding and motivates children to participate in the adventure of learning another language through the medium of storytelling.

Els nens aprenen més quan s’ho passen bé!
L’objectiu principal de The Tale Teller és que els nens gaudeixin mentre aprenen. Cada història s’ha escrit i desenvolupat tenint-ne en compte l’edat. The Tale Teller utilitza el poder de la història, de la imatge, de la dansa i de les cançons per ajudar a la comprensió i motiva els nens a participar en l’aventura d’aprendre una altra llengua a través dels contes.

Sophie Heydel is a storyteller, theatre director and drama workshop leader. She was born in London, England and studied Acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She worked as a professional actress for many years in U.K and Europe. Since becoming a storyteller, she has told stories throughout Catalunya, Euskadi, Valencia, and Zaragoza. She is a qualified English language teacher (C.E.L.T.A) and has taught all ages and levels.
Sophie has also run an English speaking drama club called The Drama Factory in Barcelona for the last six years.
Sophie Heydel és contacontes, directora de teatre i porta un taller de teatre. Va néixer a Londres, Anglaterra, i va estudiar interpretació a Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Ha treballat com a actriu professional durant molts anys al Regne Unit i a Europa. Des que és contacontes ha explicat històries per tot Catalunya, Euskadi, València i Saragossa. És professora d’anglès qualificada (amb el títol C.E.L.T.A) i ha fet classes a totes les edats i nivells.
La Sophie també ha dirigit un grup de teatre anglòfon a Barcelona durant els últims sis anys anomenat The Drama Factory.
